The story begins in the 1930s. Pierre and Lucienne Augé, pharmacists guided by both science and humanitarian commitment, devoted a decade in post-war Africa to developing a restorative balm for damaged skin, refined through thousands of clinical cases.
Upon returning to France, their conviction that “skin can regenerate when its formula is respected” led to the creation of the BASE DERGYL Method. In 1961, Pier Augé was founded, marking the birth of French haute repair skincare.
