Pier Auge Savon Facial Cleanser ~ Hydrating, creamy, beautifully scented spa-like cleanser
This is my first time trying this brand and, after my experience with this facial cleanser, I am curious to try more. The ingredients include the tried and true hyaluronic acid along with some new players to the skin treatment options that I was not familiar with. The arctic brassberry caught my eye so, I did some research to find it is good as an antioxidant for protection against aging, restoring skin barrier, and anti-inflammatory benefit. I need these benefits and seek out products that include them. I have used this cleanser for 15 days and truly love how my skin feels not only after cleansing, but through the day, and I feel I am seeing improvement in texture as well. This tube is a good size for ease of use and the flip top works well to keep it sealed without any sign of caking. The amount in my photo is actually double what I use normally, a little goes a long way in my experience. It is a nice density and the pearl appearance is pleasing along with the nice, light scent. I spend more time on my face using this wash because of how good it feels and smells - I don’t want it to end! It is very soft and moisturizing and does not get overly sudsy - very much a bonus for me. I think this is the easiest face wash I have used in terms of rinsing too; it is so fast, clean, and leaves my skin feeling fresh without any tightness at all. I have had no irritation occur, and I do have sensitive skin, so this is another huge bonus for me. While it is a high-end product that comes with a high price, I do feel that the quality and performance make this worth the price and also will alternate this with my other favorite cleanser to help avoid frequent replacement orders. And, of course, always on the lookout for discounts and offers that may pop up. Highly recommend giving this face wash a try if you have sensitive skin, aging skin, or just to treat yourself to a high-quality option.

I love saying “Pier Auge ~ Savon” outloud. I always say it in a (very poor) French accent. The quality feels very high, so I feel like it deserves the effort. This cleaner sort of feels like if you tried to wash your face with rich moisturizer, only the moisturizer magically turns into cleanser that melts all of your makeup off, foams up juuust enough to feel clean, and rinses away nicely.. which a lotion most certainly would not do. My skin sure feels like I washed with a moisturizer. But it also feels clean. ..Some kind of French magic. I should probably find out if this is even French.. I forgot I just made that up.

So I just googled it and turns out it was indeed a French luxury skincare brand! ??

Gentle part of my double cleanse routine
At night I start with an oil cleanser followed by a gentle, non-stripping cleanser. I very rarely change up my products because if it works, why change it? But, I was interested in trying a cream cleanser that also contains hyaluronic acid; which is one of my favorite skincare ingredients.

I find this to be gentle but effective and is good if you have sensitive skin. It has a light, fresh scent and helps balance your skin's moisture level while also effectively cleansing any sunscreen or makeup worn throughout the day.

I like that it has a gentle foam and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry afterwards. Gel or cream cleansers have been my preference as a result of negative experiences with exclusive foam cleansers which I find overly stripping. It's a subtle, light foaming action but I think because of the hyaluronic acid it adds a nice balance.

Wonderfully soft facial cleanser
I was a bit skeptical when I first dispensed the product, since it has a very lotion-like feel at first. Once I added water it did have a subtle lather, and when applied to my face it had a luxurious, satin texture. Very soft, creamy cleanser that instantly feels hydrating. Rinses clean and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and bouncy! Great for sensitive skin that's prone to dryness. Also has a very light, spa scent that makes the product feel luxe.

Pier Auge Savon Facial Cleanser
I've been using this face wash enough that so far, I really like it. It's the kind of cleanser that manages to be super gentle without feeling like it's not actually doing anything. It has a light, clean feel, there isnt much of a scent, which I appreciate. My skin tends to get a little tight and dry after washing, but because this one has Hyaluronic Acid and other moisturizing ingredients, my face feels refreshed after using. This is definitely good for a simple daily cleanse. It leaves my skin feeling genuinely soft and looking a little brighter.

Fresh, clean soft skin
This facial cleanser works really well. Disolves and removes my makeup and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and soft. It prepares my skin for the day or before I go to bed at night. It has no fragrance and a little goes along way. Definitely worth the money.

Fresh scented gentle cleanser
Excellent cream cleanser! Left my skin feeling soft and fresh after use. Has a light, fresh fragrance. Price is a bit steep but it's a lovely gentle cleanser.

Very moisturizing for a cleanser - doesn’t strip the skin!
This cleanser impressed me. I went in expecting the typical cleanser experience - just sort of eh, nothing groundbreaking. As a skincare junkie, I’ve tried a lot of cleansers; I’d say most are fairly mediocre regardless of price point. I’ve entered my 40s now and standard cleansers get the job done but tend to leave my skin a little stripped and sorta dried out before I layer in the other steps of my routine. I really dislike this feeling a lot.

My first impression of the Pier Auge Savon cleanser was that it was very creamy going onto the skin, but once I lathered it up, it absorbed right in and didn’t leave a ton of lather behind. Huh, I had never seen this before. Tried it the next night with a little more cleanser and a little more water and got almost the same experience. There was almost no lather to really wash off. Upon further research, I discovered it is a soap-free formula which probably accounts for the lack of lather. There is some substance to wash off, but it’s really pretty convenient to not have to drip tons of water all over the counter, my shirt, and the floor while reaching for a towel.

Afterwards, my skin was left super soft and clean. No tight or stripped feeling to be had! I really thought it felt good, especially when used in double cleansing because it left my skin feeling really clean and refreshed. With that said, because I am a bit older, this cleanser may not be for everyone. While I really appreciate the moisture it provides, it might be a nightmare for someone with more oily skin. Nevertheless, I really liked this formula and can see myself making this cleanser a regular item in my routine.

My skin likes it
This cleanser feels soft going on and rinses off without leaving that weird slippery layer. It takes off makeup easily but does not strip my skin or make it feel tight afterward. The texture is light and spreads well so I do not need much at all. My skin looks more even when I use it consistently which tells me it is not irritating anything underneath. I like that it keeps my face calm even when my routine is a little chaotic. What I noticed most is how steady my skin stays with it because it does not push my skin in any direction, it just keeps everything balanced.

Very nice hydrating cleanser
This is an effective facial cleanser. It's a thick cream and has a subtle almost spicy scent - not floral, not sweet - that fades quickly so it doesn't compete with other steps in your facial routine. It works well and rinses off easily, and left my face feeling smooth and soft. Will be good for daily use.

High end, gentle cleanse
This is a gorgeous cleanser! I immediately feel fancy when using it. It is nice and neutral on the skin. My skin feels clean after using it without being too dry or tight. I can tell that it has hydrating properties. It is able to remove my morning skincare products/spf without having to use an oil pre-cleanse.

I have sensitive, acne prone skin and this has worked well. It’s not designed as an acne cleanser, so it might it likely won’t treat acne, but it hasn’t caused any breakouts or irritation.

Swiss made Spa Level Cleanser
This cleanser is unique in that it is not a cleansing cream and it's not a foaming soap. It goes on like a cream but as you rub it into your face it whips up into what I would describe as a thin lather. It's easy to rise off and It did not leave my skin feeling stripped or tight or like it had a film left behind but instead my skin felt clean and soft and sooth. I think this is because of the unique combination of cream/soap.

It does smell perfumy at first but I don't mind fragrance in products and the fragrance of this is lovely. It reminds me of Armani Acqua. It doesn't linger on your skin after you rinse but it's enjoyable while cleansing. It is definitely a spa level quality cleanser.

Works well, is mild on your skin, and smells good.
This facial cleanser left my skin soft and clean. It is in a tube with a pop top that dispenses a thin ribbon so you won't squeeze too much out at once. Its a beautiful thick cream that you apply and rib into damp skin. It was easy to clean off by both cloth and by just rinsing with water. It has a great scent that is not too overpowering. It smells like roses and tea leaves. The directions are clear and the ingredients are listed onn the box so you know what you are using. My face feels soft and it did a great job if washing off my makeup, as well as just cleansing a makeup free face. I would buy again.

Lovely Cleanser!
I ordered this cleanser as I am always looking for a good way to get my face clean at the end of the day that is gentle and effective. This is a pretty impressive looking box in design. It would look really nice in a facial care gift basket. The color and the design are so attractive. The actual wash is creamy and it really does remove makeup and impurities while being pretty gentle on your skin. I didn't feel like it dried out my skin at all and it left it more supple and hydrated than it was before I washed it which is nice. I typically have slightly sensitive skin and I didn't have any sensitivity with this cleansing cream. I was looking for a good, gentle and effective cleansing routine, and I think I found it with this cream. Happy I ordered it!
